The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is now making appointments for people who are turning their pets over to the shelter.
The Humane Society of Southern Arizona provides a relinquishment service to the public for pet owners who are unable to keep their pets. If you made the decision you can no longer keep your pet, please make an appointment with an intake counselor to release your pet into our care. The HSSA has these appointment times in order to:
· Reduce the wait period and streamline the process
· Offer more personalized service
· Increase the adoptability of your pet by allowing our counselors to obtain important information about the pets needs and behaviors
Allow 15-45 minutes for your relinquishment appointment. Please call (520) 321-3711 to make an appointment.
Please note that we are unable to pick up animals.
