“Coated
with Fur”: A Literary Groundhog Day Gathering for Animal Lovers
Saturday,
Feb. 2nd, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Punxsutawney Phil invites all
his Tucson cousins to an all-animal afternoon featuring guest speaker Dr.
Kristen Nelson, the author of “Coated with Fur: A Vet’s Life.” There will also
be a silent auction of animal-inspired art by notable Tucson artists and
photographers, and wine and refreshments will be served in a lovely home in
Tucson Country Club Estates. This event benefits the Circle of Book Clubs/Pima
Library Foundation and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
