Come to Plaza Colonial, located at the southwest corner of Skyline & Campbell, for the Dog Daze of Summer party taking place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 20!  Shop at eclectic stores, listen to live music and nosh at tasty restaurants to benefit the animals at the Humane Society. Many will be donating a percentage of their sales that night to the HSSA, serving yummy snacks and beverages for pooches and people, and showcasing adoptable animals. DJ Satyr will be serving up tunes in the courtyard, and the Uptown Rockers band will be playing a set outside Jane Hamilton Fine Art, which will also have eegee’s on hand. A fashion show at 7 p.m. will feature children wearing fanciful tutu gowns from PrimaDonna Boutique and HSSA-trained Pet VIP pooches sporting couture designed by Art Institute of Tucson students.   

The Art Institute is donating six dog fashions to a raffle, which will also include:   

• Two $25 gift certificates to Shlomo and Vito’s New York Delicatessen and Pizza Kitchen,
• A $100 gift certificate to Elements of Tucson,
• A basket of products and gift certificates from Mingle Salon & Spa, and
• A girl’s tutu gown and $50 gift certificate from PrimaDonna Boutique!
