The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is an active partner in helping animal victims of domestic violence.

In cooperation with selected domestic violence shelters in the county, we will protect your pet until such time the home is a safe environment for all the victims. Domestic violence shelters are often unable to accommodate the pet victims of domestic violence.

If for some reason you are involved in a domestic violence situation, and you feel the life or health of your pet is being threatened, please phone us for information about how we can help your pet(s). All too often the perpetrator's rage is not only towards the human members of a family, but also towards the family pet.
