You can help earn donations for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona’s education and anti-cruelty programs everytime you shop at Albertsons, Sav-On Drugs, Osco Drug or online at the Albertsons website! The Humane Society will receive a percentage of your eligible purchases in the form of a cash contribution from Albertson’s, Inc. It’s that easy!
How to Join: Originally, you would be provided with a yellow Community Partners Card. Recently, however, Albertsons has discontinued the use of these cards and will “link” your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card directly to the Humane Society’s donation account. This means you only need to show ONE card instead of two when you shop at any of the above named stores. To link your Preferred Savings Card to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, follow these steps:
Go to www.albertsons.com and click on the “In the Community” link.

Click on the Community Partners logo link and follow the instructions

The Humane Society’s Community Partners ID number is 49001082608.

Click on the link that says “Shoppers login or register with the Preferred Savings Card first,” then follow the instructions.

Basha's
Supermarkets will donate 1% of your shopping dollars
to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona each time you shop with them.
The program is simple. Just ask the Basha's checkout clerk to link our
group number (28006) to your card when you check out.
This only needs to be done one time each year. If you do not have a Basha's card
please ask the customer service department in their stores to issue
you a card and link the Humane Society of Southern Arizona to your card
with the number above. Effective from Sept 2007 to April 2008.

Did you know that the toner cartridge you discard into the public landfill can take several hundred years to decompose? Are you looking for an alternative to disposing of your used cartridges? If you’re a supporter of HSSA, we’ve found the perfect solution to recycling toner cartridges while you help HSSA save homeless pets.
Cartridge World is coordinating a printer cartridge recycling program to help support dogs and cats in need of new homes at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. If you’d like to participate in this special program, just bring your empty inkjet or laser printer cartridges (black or color), to the Humane Society Shelter at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd or you may also exchange your empty printer cartridge directly at Cartridge World and receive up to 50% off a newly refilled toner cartridge.
Store locations: 4592 E. Broadway (just west of Swan) or 7292 N. Oracle Rd. (just north of Ina). A precentage of each exchange/purchase will be donated to the HSSA. This small effort will make a BIG difference! You’ll be helping our environment by not adding more cartridges to landfill, AND you’ll be helping homeless animals.

The eScrip fundraising program benefits the HSSA each time you use your Safeway card (or any other grocery loyalty card, debit or credit card you wish). Long Realty Company reaffirmed their commitment to the southern Arizona community and to homeless animals by partnering with HSSA to form the Pets LONGing for Homes program. This web-based collaboration pairs Long Co. home buyers with pets available for adoption through HSSA. The site includes links to pet adoption resources, promotes responsible pet ownership, and provides information on finding a pet, local pet parks, pet friendly lodging across the nation, on pet wellness and a calendar with pet-related events.
