By becoming a member of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, you will be helping us in our mission to save the lives of animals in our community. Without your help we would not do our work. We are an independent 501 (C) 3 organization and receive no funding from any national organization. We are able to keep our doors open only through donations from generous individuals in our community.
Some of the work that your donations help to support are:
- placement of animals in good homes through our adoption center
- the prevention of cruelty to animals
- the sheltering of unwanted and lost animals
- prevention of pet overpopulation through education and spay / neuter surgery
- education of humane treatment of animals
